The RIFF is a large DIY printer that can be built without spending a fortune. You can build a 300x600 (RIFF 600) or 300x900 (RIFF 900) version of this. Custom files can be found on Printables. https://www.printables.com/model/1291... CAD model: https://github.com/itesdahl/RIFF I encourage the use of second hand parts and will not provide any complete BOM listing specific new components. ---- Removing bearings from V wheels: • DIY 3D printer - the complete build The length of the x-axis extrusion is 440mm On my 600 build the 2020 extrusions for the bed assembly is 2 pcs 645mm. You have to check the bed mounts on your heat bed to determine if you need even longer extrusions in your build! ---- I am not using the best components available. I am using whatever I already have or can get hold of second hand. No AWD, canbus, large controller boards or special stepper motors in this build. Some facts about the build: • Filament used: Isanmate ASA (black), Filamentum ASA (RED) and SUNLU PETG (black) • Build plate 300 x 600 or 300x900 (using 2 or 3 pcs 300x300 heat beds) • 2020 and 2040 extrusions • SKR 1.4 turbo and SKR Pico controllerboards • Radxa Rock 3C SBC • MGN 12H rails/carriage on Y and X • 12mm rods and bearings on Z • Cartesian (the belts are a bit too long for corexy) • Klipper • Dual Y steppermotors • Sensorless homing on X and Y • Dragonburner with Sherpa micro • 2 x 360W 24V power supplies (3x 360W 24V in the 900 version) Timestamps: 00:00 Trollolo 00:18 Parts for the bed 00:59 Y axis 07:30 X axis 13:38 Installing the belts 17:40 Mistake corrected #largeprinter #3dprint #DIY
