Our 2023 Overland Life with Ulisse

We are Antonio and Valentina, full-time Overlanders and Digital Nomads. Ulisse is our truck, office, and home. It's a 1997 Ford F350 Power Stroke 🚑 ambulance conversion into a unique 4x4 mid-size Overland rig. Here, we want to share with you our 2023! We have been blessed to visit great parks and lesser-known hidden gems, enjoy breathtaking landscapes and fantastic wildlife, meet with old and new friends, and, with a bit of maintenance, keep our beloved Ulisse always up and running! In 2023, we joined 🍃 Leave No Trace (https://lnt.org), becoming Proud Partners and advocate of their seven principles: 1. Plan ahead & prepare. 2. Travel & camp on durable surfaces. 3. Dispose of waste properly. 4. Leave what you find. 5. Minimize campfire impact. 6. Respect wildlife. 7. Be considerate of others. In January 2023, we switched from our office-based work & home in Arizona to a new and exciting overland life while working as 👩‍💻 👨‍💻 digital nomads, thanks to our 📡 Starlink satellite antenna. We left Prescott, AZ, and headed to Florida, where we stayed for two months at the beginning of the year. We then crossed the United States from the southernmost point, Key West, FL, to Prudhoe Bay in Alaska, on the Arctic Ocean. We spent the Summer months in 🐻 🐟 Alaska and western 🇨🇦 Canada, reaching the Arctic Ocean also at Tuktoyaktuk in the Northwest Territories before heading South. After spending one month in 🇮🇹 Italy with our families, we flew to Orlando, FL, for our Oath of Allegiance and became 🇺🇸 US citizens. We returned to our Ulisse, parked in Seattle, WA, and started our way along the 🌊 Pacific Coast of the States. We are currently in California, leaving the coast, driving in the main parks, and we are now in the 🏜️ deserts, ready to spend (again) New Year's Eve in Death Valley. In early 2024, we'll be back in Arizona, meeting friends and working on improvements for Ulisse before moving to Central and South America. Keep following us and join v-adventures' travels!
