This effect is Alex Elmsley's, 'Point of Departure', which was orignally published in 'Come a Little Closer...' by Peter Warlock (1953). It was later re-published in 'The Collected Works of Alex Elmsely Volume 2 by Stephen Minch (1994). Thanks to my buddy ‪@SeanDevine‬ for reminding me of the source!
