In order to reflect the holistic mission of universities, academic careers need to be balanced between, and value, all aspects of the academic profession. As this is not yet a day-to-day reality, reforming academic careers is one of the priorities of EUA’s vision document ‘Universities without walls: a vision for 2030’. To support EUA’s work on this topic, a one-year Task-and-Finish Group explored good practice in managing academic careers. Following the publication of this group’s ‘Key principles for attractive and sustainable careers’ on 27 May, this webinar further explored the key principles and the considerations and practices behind them. Speakers David Crosier, Higher Education System and Policy Analyst, Eurydice, EACEA, European Commission Rita Morais, Adviser for Research & Innovation, EUA Thérèse Zhang, Deputy Director, Higher Education Policy, EUA Helene Peterbauer, Deputy Director, Institutional Development, EUA Chaired by Maria Kelo, Director, Institutional Development, EUA Connect with EUA Online: Visit EUA Website: https://bit.ly/EUAWebsite Like EUA on Facebook: https://bit.ly/EUAFacebook Follow @euatweets on X: https://bit.ly/EUATwitter Follow EUA on Linkedin: https://bit.ly/EUALinkedin
