This time I'm going to be living on £2 for a day at M&S! That's 3 meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, all for the minimal budget of just a £2. M&S makes this especially hard as it's a more upmarket, premium supermarket. In fact, it was almost impossible, as you'll soon see! This is a continuation of a series spanning over the next few months where I'll be heading to Britain's top 8 supermarkets to see if this challenge is possible at each of them. Can you sustain living on £1 for a day at each of these supermarkets? Britain is currently experiencing a Cost of Living Crisis, which means that prices for food, fares, and other goods are rising rapidly. With all that said, is living on £2 for a day a feasible thing to be able to do, will it be better than just £1? I won't be mixing and matching supermarkets. Each episode will centre on one supermarket to see if it is possible or not. We do have the dreaded second £1 coin if it proves impossible. Other than M&S and Waitrose where we will be living on £2 for a day. I'll also strive to make different meals at each supermarket, where possible.
