European Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence – conclusion to first meeting

The European High Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence (AI HLEG) met for the first time on 20 September 2018 in Brussels to discuss ethics guidelines on AI, to be published by the end of the year. They also gathered input for the AI policy and investment recommendations. Participants included AI HLEG members, AI HLG reserve list members, some ad hoc experts and Commission staff.
