Al-Aqsa imam says ‘there’s no justification’ for the mosque’s closure

Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, the imam of Jerusalem’s al-Aqsa Mosque, says there is “no justification” for the closure of the holy site, after Israeli forces barred thousands of Muslim worshippers from entering during the last ten days of Ramadan, including on Laylat al-Qadr, the holiest night in the Muslim year.
