After owning the Godox AD400 Pro for a while, I realized it’s time to let it go. Don’t get me wrong—it’s a fantastic strobe with plenty of power, but for my workflow, it’s just not the right fit anymore. 👜 Size & Portability: The AD400 Pro is relatively compact for its power output, but still bulkier than what I need. When I’m out on location shoots, I prefer something lighter and more portable. 💡 Barely Used: I haven’t touched it in months. Most of my shoots are either with natural light or my more compact lights like the AD200, which brings me to my next point… ⚡ Limited Full-Power Pops: One of the main reasons I’m moving on is the limited battery life. At full power, you only get around 100 pops. That might be enough for some, but on a busy shoot, it’s just not cutting it. 🔄 AD200 is More Versatile: The Godox AD200 fits my needs so much better—lighter, more adaptable, and easier to carry around. I can even throw two AD200s together and get similar power to the AD400 Pro with way more flexibility. So, it’s time to say goodbye to the AD400 Pro. If you’re someone who needs that punch of power and doesn’t mind the extra bulk, it might be perfect for you. But for me, the AD200 is where it’s at. 👉 What are your thoughts?
