Conlangs Aren't The Problem: A Response to

Fellow linguist and youtuber ‪@LinguisticDiscovery‬ late last year posted to his YouTube and Instagram with an accompanying blogpost. It irked me for a few reasons, and today I want to respond to some of them. Constructed languages (conlangs), like Esperanto and Klingon, may not be the most impressive form of art, but they, and their communities, are still ultimately worthy of respect from linguists.
