The RefBox UI is specifically designed for quick and accurate referee or coach review. It presents synchronized video feeds and comprehensive playout controls, allowing users to rapidly recall and monitor any angle of an action. This overview details the features and workflows that enable deeper analysis and decision-making during or after an event. Contents & Timestamps: UI Layout and Components: A look at the interface, including the live multi viewer (supporting up to 15 sources) , the Clips and Cues database , and the Playback Control section. [00:00:28] Referee/Coach Review Operation: Learn how to use the jog pad to go back in time with all cameras synced. Review key actions by setting playout speed, stepping frame-by-frame, or jumping back a preset time. [00:01:33] Selecting and Analyzing Angles: Select angles for review in smaller multi viewers, or switch to a full-screen view. Use the pinch and zoom feature within any window for deeper analysis. [00:02:00] Marking Cues for Later Review: Use the Cues function to mark timecode references during the event. Selecting a Cue thumbnail will instantly jump back to that point in time with all cameras in sync. [00:03:27] Creating, Archiving, and Exporting Clips: Create precise Clips using in and out points to define ranges of action. See how archiving is managed manually or automatically, and how exported content is used for coach or referee education. [00:04:14] Editing Clip Metadata: Go to the edit screen to easily name or add keywords to better define the action. This metadata is also exported with the media. [00:05:02] Overlaying Video Clock (PiP): Use the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) function to overlay a live video clock on top of any camera angle. This is useful for analyzing actions that depend on timing, such as a shot release before the play clock reaches zero. [00:05:33] Multi-User Workflows and Roles: Review advanced operational scenarios, including having two separate Master Users for independent control, or a Master and Slave setup where the slave user (e.g., an on-field official) only sees the best selected angle. [00:06:22] Specialized Applications: Explore other roles like the VAR workflow (based on FIFA standards) and specific review workflows for horse racing stewards, medical staff, or commentary teams.
