Is the ESV Study Bible the Best Study Bible? | Bible Review

The ESV Study Bible has had a significant impact on my own life. It represents the first Bible I used for intensive study, for a full read-through of Scripture, and the study notes helped me to fine-tune some of my theological beliefs. In this video, I provide a review of the ESV Study Bible with special attention to its many strengths. Favorite Feature: Controversial passages are treated with the most popular interpretations throughout church history, along with the author's own beliefs. Least Favorite Feature: Like most study Bibles, the pages are thin and there is little page real estate for note-taking and highlighting. However, this is not the goal of a study Bible, so this is just me being picky more than anything! Verdict: If you can only own ONE study Bible, the ESV Study Bible provides a nice, mixed approach that is evangelical, reformed, and ecumenical in the best sense of each word.
