I special ordered some 3/4” Europly walnut plywood from The Home Depot and had them cut it to my specifications. Having it precut saved me from having to handle the large pieces on the table saw and it didn’t cost any extra money. It is a very simple design, and since there are no voids in the Europly plywood and has a very pleasant edge I decided to leave the edges bare and just round them over using a bullnose bit on the router table. I finished it off with a few coats of wipe on poly.
