PART 2: In this 2 part film, I explore Drakopoulata - another Kefalonian village abandoned after the 1953 earthquake. To me, what sets Drakopoulata apart from other abandoned villages in Kefalonia is how well preserved the features of many buildings are. Bread ovens - in perfect condition - over 70 years since they were last used. Wells, window shutters, doors, roofs, wooden floors, ovens and lot's of interesting nooks and crannies give us clues how people lived in this old mountain village. The weather while filming this was unexpectedly wet. It rained for about half of the time I was filming, I'm surprised my camera didn't die from all the rain falling on it! But thankfully it didn't and you can enjoy the fascinating ruins of Drakopoulata with me - The Horse.
