Pixelgrooves is a duo created by Per Olev and Servando Barreiro. Inspired by digital art, music technology, computers, DIY and many years of tinkering, they started to work together in 2019 while both were resident artists in the Rumtiden creative space in Stockholm. In summer of 2022 during ‘Futureless festival’ they got the chance to do their first public improvised audiovisual performance, which happened to be seen and heard by the curators of the piksel festival in Bergen, Norway, where they ended up performing in November 2022.
