Bathsheba is known for its healing qualities because of the unique mineral rich salt water pools carved out by the sea, wind and tides from the coral rocks. Its shores are rocky, stretching along the coastline exposing some unusual rock formations that have broken away from the ancient coral reef over time against which the Atlantic Ocean roller waves crash into surges of foam, sculpting the coral rock faces so that they look like boulders perched on pedestals.
