this was a twitch run so you may hear my voice or stuff going on in the chat / sub stuff going on. Apparently this game is canonically part of the R-type universe and you are hunting down autonomous vehicles driven berserk by the Bydo, dubbed "Mad Cars" It takes place in the same time period of R-Type Delta. I was running this game casually for a bit and streaming my progress. I put it on the shelf last year because of stage 3 but I figured it out. Game is tight, it's an underrated irem game with the difficulty similar to In the Hunt, maybe a little bit harder because of Stage 3 boss and stage 4. This game is extremely fast paced and your score is based on time. Your rank is increased by taking powerups similar to In the Hunt that was released 2 years later. If you want to pass this game, try using the missle shot for bosses, it's the most damaging weapon(pretty sure it is).
