My computer case, motherboard/CPU, and disk drives are 9 years old and showing their age. A few years old I upgraded my graphics card and power supply to give it some new life, but it's time to build a new one from almost scratch. I didn't want to upgrade my graphics board (lungs of the computer) because I'm happy with the performance of my EVGA 3080ti and I'm leery of the new NVIDIA 12v GPU connector and all its problems. So I decided to transplant them into a brand new case, motherboard/CPU, and disk drives. Part 1 covers unboxing: Antec Flux Pro Case, figuring out where to mount the SSD's, and removing the drive brackets from the other section (which we don't need) to increase the airflow. Part 2 covers unboxing: the ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D CPU, and the G.SKILL memory Part 3 covers unboxing: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 - CPU AIO Water Cooler, SAMSUNG 990 PRO NVMe M.2 SSD (System/C: drive), Crucial T700 4TB Gen5 NVMe M.2 SSD (Game/G: drive), Part 4 covers unboxing the rest of the components: 2x Samsung 870 QVO 8TB SATA III 2.5" Internal SSD (Data/D: drive - RAID-1), Noctua NA-STPG1, Thermal Paste Guard and Cleaning Set for AMD AM5 CPUs, Vantec NexStar DX2 USB 3.0 External Enclosure, Thermaltake Smart 500W 80+ White Certified PSU (Old PC needs a heart!) Part 5 covers removing the components in my old computer, performing surgery by removing the PSU (heart) and the graphics card (lungs), then installing the replacement PSU so I can keep my old computer running while I get the new one running and even after that in case I need a program or a file or anything else from my old computer. I normally keep my old computer around for 1 year just in case I forgot something on it, or some program or website doesn't work with the new computer for some reason and need to use those types of things. Part 6 covers case preparation: removing front fans that came with the case that will be upgraded with higher performance fans and removing the top cover so we can install the CPU AIO 420mm radiator.
