MY JAW SURGERY EXPERIENCE | LeFort I Osteotomy Day 1-35 of Recovery & Tips (VLOG 11) | katyyho

This is the most physically challenging situation I've gone through this year. I think I am healing well because my body at this point is used to various physical and mental trauma. I got my jaw surgery on November 12th. It was on my top jaw/maxilla. Enjoy my pre-op and recovery vlog! I included 35 days of screen notes, photos, or video clips. I want to make my jaw experience a series on my channel through this upcoming year so anyone can keep up with my progress and can also see how far I will overcome/keep going. I'd love if my vlog can benefit anybody that may be going through the same thing, has gone through it, or if you know someone that is. Watching other jaw vlogs has helped me a lot too, so I want to pay that forward. Or, if you are curious about this jaw joint/bone condition, my video can serve as an educational resource. Comment down below any questions, or share about your jaw experiences! I did not mention in the video that no amount of braces would have fixed my condition. Surgery was the last resort to fix my chronic avascular necrosis condition, TMJ & my class II open bite - my eating, speech, and teeth were affected. I had headaches, joint pain, popping and locking, and I was always irritable (easily annoyed and get bored too). I didn't talk to as many people as I'd like to because of this insecurity nor ate out with people much. And, so I always had to do a lot so I wouldn't have time to think and be affected by my jaw. The purpose of my channel is to document my experiences, and spread positivity and creativity!
