RULES: • Due to "Mission Time" being volatile, Timing is done by stopwatch, visible on the video. You may use SimpleMissionTimer from the workshop to time your runs. Timer starts when you gain control of your dwarf after the pod lands, timer ends when you are in the pod and weapons are no longer drawn on screen. • No third-party software other than for recording and timing. • Solo Mode Only • Latest Update • Hazard 5 difficulty. • No Positive mutator allowed these are the yellow mutators that may affect the gameplay/combat aspect of the game such as : Critical weakness, Low Gravity, Rich Atmosphere, Volatile Guts, and Blood Sugar. • No beer buffs. • Secondary objective does not have to be completed CLASS SETUP: Drak: 2, 2, 2, 3, 2 + Overtuned Particle Accelerator Boomstick: 1, 1, 3, 1, 3 + Special Powder Pheromones Passive Perks: Born Ready, Unstoppable, Strong Arm Active Perks: Dash, Heightened Senses NOTES: This is such a painful mission to speedrun. It completely relies on good cave gen, so to compete for a WR time it requires incredible luck and/or many resets. I've slowly whittled down my PB time from 5.53 to 5.40 to 4.50 to 4.49 and finally this 4.26. I still believe Scout is ultimately the fastest choice for this mission type when getting great cave gen. If you want consistently fast times, then Driller is the better option. Now that I'm done spending hours banging my head into the wall, maybe I can finally rest until this record is beaten again. Which, if history tells us anything, will be in approximately 5 hours. Uffdah.
