Mark Redmond uilleann pipes in B

This is my #Quarantunes video. These are "must have" tunes for me! The first is 'Redmond's Frolics' (exactly!) from Francis O'Neill's 1922 publication, Waifs and Strays of Gaelic Melody. The second is 'Trip the Hills to Gorey' from an early 20th century manuscript compiled by a Dublin Christian Brother and now in the possession of local fiddler, Tomás Keegan. (The second part of the first tune is similar to 'My Sweetheart Jane'/ first part of second is like 'The Flags of Dublin') The pipes used in this video were made by David Quinn and Benedict Koehler, and were purchased with the aid of Music Network/Arts Council of Ireland, and the Department of Arts Heritage and Gaelteacht.
