But I'm trying! As you see in the video, our old house has some unique character about it...The original front door was 6ft door,and the porch ceiling isn't hardly 7ft. If you look our standard front door goes up into the Ceiling of the porch. I didn't want to cut all that out ,reframe, or build a box in it. So I thought a sliding door would fit our old house charm. I built my back screen door similar to this one, but its a swinging wood door with the old spring & hooks. It had the old style look except for the modern push button latch
