In today's lesson, we will use one of the most accessible and straightforward alternate tunings on guitar. This particular tuning is called "Drop D." We will tune the low e string down to a D. This tuning is D A D G B E. I love this tuning so much because it allows you to have a lovely sound without changing too many strings. Songs in D major and D minor are pretty welcome in this tuning.
