🍚 Prasadacha Sheera (Maharashtrian Style) 📝 Ingredients • 1 cup rava (semolina / sooji) • 1 cup ghee (generous ghee is key for prasād) • 1 cup sugar • 2½–3 cups milk (or milk + water mix) • 8–10 cashews, halved • 8–10 almonds, sliced • 4–5 green cardamom pods, powdered • 1 ripe banana, chopped or mashed • A few strands of saffron (optional) ⸻ 👩🍳 Method 1. Roast the rava • Heat ghee in a heavy-bottom pan on low–medium heat. • Add rava and roast slowly, stirring continuously. • Roast until it turns light golden and releases a pleasant aroma. 2. Add sugar, cardamom & banana • Add sugar and cardamom powder. • Add the chopped banana. • Stir continuously until the banana softens and blends into the rava. 3. Prepare hot milk • In another pot, boil the milk. • Keep it warm. 4. Add milk carefully • Slowly add warm milk to the rava mixture while stirring continuously. • Be careful—it may splutter. • Cook until the rava absorbs the milk and becomes soft. 5. Add dry fruits • Lightly fry cashews and almonds in a little ghee (tadka). • Add them to the sheera and mix well. • The sheera will loosen—this is normal. • Cook until it thickens again and ghee starts separating. 6.
