Shine Grooves - Deep house mix on Magnitron-2
Deep House is quite an underrated genre today, with its peak popularity, in my personal opinion, occurring between 1995 and 2015. I don’t understand why there’s so little of this music being released and played now, perhaps that’s a good thing. But that’s just a prelude. One fine evening, I thought, why not take my Deep House records, rip them onto cassette tapes, and then play them, giving the "Magnitron-2" a full test drive, especially in the heat of 30+ degrees. I present to you a slow, classic Deep House mix from magnetic tapes. Featuring: Anton Zap, Ron Trent, Rick Wade, Pepe Bradock, Move D, John Daly, etc. P.S. The main goal of this mix was to demonstrate the capability of mixing cassettes in rhythm, just like on vinyl turntables. There are many tape DJs out there who play ambient and electronic music (I’m a fan of that format myself), but the Magnitron-2 offers the option for classic DJing. Enjoy the vibe, complete with a rural touch 🌱.
