Civil rights icon, The Reverend Jesse Jackson, who advocated for the poor and underrepresented on issues from voting rights to education and health care, has died at the age of 84. Jackson, a two-time Presidential candidate and a protege of The Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., spent more than six decades dedicated to pushing for social change, amplifying voices, and advancing equality both privately and as the founder of the Rainbow Push Coalition - he's being remembered by the likes of L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, Reverend Al Sharpton, and President Trump, Biden, and Obama, as well as by USC Law Professor Jody Armour, who joined Cher Calvin and Micah Ohlman to discuss Jackson's life, legacy, and the work still ahead.
