I spent $1500 on an Amicus Doll BJD! Is she worth it? ➡️ For INSANE BJD Purchases:    • My Worst Impulse Purchase Yet: Doll Chatea...   Back in the day when I was gainfully employed and had tip money just waiting to be spent, I decided it was a good idea to pay $1500 for an Amicus Doll. This is a video about what I got. This is a BJD, Ball Jointed Doll. An art doll. A doll sculpted by an artist and then cast in resin. There was labor and love, talent, and craftsmanship attached to the sculpting and art, and I love to support small artist doll brands. I got the Freya face mold on the Equilibrium Body in skin tone Aurora. The doll took 8 months to arrive. In this video, we'll see my first impressions of this BJD, (Ball Jointed Doll) art doll, we'll look at her realistic sculpting, posing, and see what the engineering is like. We'll try to put her in extreme poses, and see if she can do them, and even compare her to Barbie!
