No. 20 Maryland erased a 19-point deficit to steal a 76-75 win from No. 8 Ohio State on Sunday afternoon. The Terps went on a 35-11 run over 13 minutes in the second half to rally to tie the biggest comeback win in program history and first top-10 road win since 2022. Oluchi Okananwa's big season continued with a 17-point, 10-rebound, four-assist performance against Ohio State. She recorded her ninth-career double-double as Maryland outgained the Buckeyes 47-34 on the glass. Saylor Poffenbarger added a double-double of her own with 13 key points and 11 rebounds. After trailing by 15 at the half, Maryland used a huge, 26-14 third quarter to cut the Buckeyes' lead to three points entering the final quarter. The Terps hit nine three-pointers in the second half to grab their 21st win of the season, earning revenge over the Buckeyes, and sealing Maryland's sixth Quad 1 win of the season and fifth on the road. Only No. 2 UCLA and No. 9 Louisville have more road Quad 1 wins with six. Counting Maryland's neutral-site win over Kentucky, the Terps have six Quad 1 wins away from home. The Buckeyes initially built their lead with a 27-point first quarter that featured double-digit performances from both Chance Gray and Jaloni Cambridge. Gray and Cambridge both had big days for OSU, combining for 54 of the Buckeyes' 75 total points. Yarden Garzon hit five three-pointers in her 17-point performance as she extended her Big Ten-leading three-point total to 79. Addi Mack played a huge role with 14 points in her 16th double-digit game of her freshman season. She drained three threes and scored 11 second-half points to lead the heroic rally.
