Alright, get ready for a wild ride through Barranco, Lima, with me! Chapter 1: Street Art, Eh? (0:08 - 1:50) We arrived in Barranco, all hyped about street art. But after a few murals, I was like, "Is that all?" It was good, but not the mind-blowing, jaw-dropping stuff I was expecting. Chapter 2: A Mural Miracle (1:50 - 7:32) Suddenly, BAM! We found a spot with five or six murals by the same artist, and they were just chef's kiss amazing! So much detail, so much color – it was like walking into a dream. We even stumbled upon the artist's free gallery, and saw about 60 more pieces. Talk about a happy accident! Chapter 3: Beach Bound (7:32 - 16:25) Time to soak up some sun! We headed to the beach, which was bursting with life. It was a little crowded, but the energy was contagious. We strolled along the shoreline, soaking up the vibes, and even saw the edge of the Fonco district – a little sneak peek into another part of Barranco. Chapter 4: Pisco Sour Party (16:25 - 24:22) We needed a little pick-me-up, so we grabbed a drink at a bar. I ordered a Pisco Sour, the Peruvian cocktail of choice. Oh my gosh, it was like a tropical explosion in my mouth! It was so delicious and refreshing, I couldn’t even taste the alcohol. Chapter 5: Sweet Surrender (24:22 - 26:58) Our last stop was at a local store, where we loaded up on Peruvian candy. Avocado-flavored lollipops, marshmallow treats, and even corn-flavored gummies – we were in candy heaven! I'm not sure what I ate more of – the candy or the amazing scenery.
