Inaugeration - Kirpal Sagar Conference 2007

The inauguration of the Symbols of unity on top of the 'Sach Khand Bhawan'on 10 December was the very highlight of the World Conference. This date had been chosen as it was the 75th Birthday of Dr. Harbhajan Singh, who had built up the project Kirpal Sagar on behalf of Sant Kirpal Singh. At the same time the Silver Jubilee of Kirpal Sagar was celebrated. The four symbols represent the four main types of sacred buildings: Temple, Gurdawara, Mosque and Church. Such a sign of unity never existed before. The inauguration started with a procession from the conference tent to the Sarovar, headed by Mrs. Surinder Kaur, President of Unity of Man, India, accompanied by the representatives of the religions. The guests from abroad and all other attendees of the conference session followed. Crowds of people, waving and cheering, expected them along the waysides and around the Sarovar basin. Rose flowers were showered from the roof while the white veil lifted and gave free view on the unique ensemble of the Symbols of the unity of man. It was impressing to see persons of different religions, countries, colours and languages jointly walking around the Sarovar, praying in each corner to the One God Who is the Father of all.
