Later that year, I left the band to join forces with Rafael Bittencourt and Andre Matos to start a new band which became "Angra". In 1992, “Skyscraper” recorded the song as part of a demo tape called "Captain Frog", and Andre Matos, at my invitation, joined as a special guest, recording backing vocals for the track. Time passed and this song ended up being never being recorded and released in a proper album Fast forward to 2023: with Twilight Aura's second album being planned, we decided to record "Laws of Life". Then, with the approval of Andre Matos’s family, we retrieved his original vocal recordings from that old demo-tape and included them in this version as a tribute to his memory. Our sole intention is to honor this unforgettable and extraordinary musician, who is deeply missed. To make this release even more special, we invited Daniel Matos, Andre Matos’s brother, to contribute to the song. He recorded all the bass parts, as this is his primary instrument, and even added some vocal contributions. This means that both Matos brothers are now featured together on the track. Adding to this unique moment, this is also the first time the Elsas brothers—Fabio and Rodolfo—perform together on a song.
