New Recipes & A Huge Mistake That Could Cost Me My Reputation. A Full Day in the Kitchen! Homemaking

Hey friends 🤍 Today’s video is one of those days that perfectly sums up who I am — feeding people, juggling a million things, and doing my best with the time I have. Once a quarter, parents at my kids’ school volunteer to bring food for the teachers and staff as a small way to say thank you for all they do. Some people grab store-bought items (which is just as appreciated!), and I decided to spend the day cooking — because if you know me, you know food is my love language. Making it, eating it, sharing it… all of it. I cooked six recipes for the teachers and staff, pulling several from a Joanna Gaines cookbook (Volume 3) — and funny enough, I realized one of the recipes in my book had a typo 😳. I cooked it wrong because the recipe was wrong! After comparing it to the online version, I’m honestly wondering if that’s how this cookbook ended up at TJ Maxx 😂 Thankfully, everything still turned out delicious. Between cooking, having family in town, splitting time between my kids, our guests, and you — my best friend here — this day felt full in the best and hardest way. I didn’t get to make everything I wanted (French silk pie, I’m looking at you), but I truly hope everyone got a little piece of me.
