Experience the charm of Marbella’s Old Town (Casco Antiguo) as the city begins to glow with the anticipation of Christmas! Join us for a sunny, atmospheric walk through the beautiful streets of Marbella, Andalusia, filmed in late November. This video captures the unique blend of warm weather, vibrant Spanish life, and early holiday decorations that make this time of year so special. Our journey begins at the heart of the historic center, Plaza de la Iglesia, home to the stunning Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation (Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación). We capture the serene beauty of the church and the quaint Fountain of the Cross (Fuente de la Cruz) before stepping inside the historical landmark. We then wander through the narrow, flower-pot-lined streets of the Old Town. Feel the buzz of life with open local shops, bustling cafés, and people enjoying the sunshine. The walk naturally leads us to the iconic Plaza de los Naranjos (Orange Square), where the beautiful terraces are buzzing with activity, and you can see the first signs of the festive season with Christmas decorations being installed. Our stroll concludes in the historic area at Plaza de la Victoria. The second part of the video starts in the city's main green lung, Avenida del Mar (which runs through the central park area). Here, we pause by the elegant Fuente Virgen del Rocío fountain. From here, we walk down the wide, pedestrianized boulevard known for its impressive Salvador Dalí Sculptures (this is the key pedestrian avenue leading to the sea). Notice the lovely new Christmas lights and ornaments already adorning the way, preparing for the upcoming December festivities! Finally, we reach the promenade (Paseo Marítimo) and head towards the Marbella Marina (Puerto Deportivo de Marbella). We capture panoramic views of the port from above, before descending to the water's edge for an up-close look at the beautiful yachts and boats, concluding our sunny November exploration.
