Come along with me as I create six miniature decor pieces in 1:12 scale, all inspired by cozy vintage homes of the era. In this video, I make three tiny lamps with handmade shades using wood, buttons, and paper, perfect for adding warm character to a miniature room. I also add classic decorative touches, transforming a tiny plastic rooster like the ceramic ones often found in old-fashioned kitchens, a small horse painted a soft dun color to resemble ceramic living-room decor, and a sweet calico cat to bring a bit of life into the dollhouse. This project is all about capturing the everyday charm and homey details of the 1930s—small pieces that make a dollhouse feel truly lived in.
