The past decade or so has been turbulent for the Tomb Raider franchise as Lara Croft has undergone quite a few changes. In video games, they completely altered the character to make her more 'realistic.' And on the TV screen, Netflix made her flat out manly. Even the recent tabletop game went out of its way to push progressive politics into the franchise.
