We recently went on board the beautiful Oceania Vista to sail a 7 day cruise thru Costa Maya, Belize CIty, Roatan Island, and Cozumel. Not gonna lie...trying to order and eat anything outside of the cruise boat was challenging! This all-veranda vessel promises you'll have your own slice of the outside world, perfect for contemplating the vastness of the sea or just discreetly drying your swimsuit. The design leans into "residential-style comfort," which is code for feeling like you're in a very upscale apartment complex that occasionally changes its zip code without your input. Life onboard the Vista revolves around the important decisions, like which of the many dining venues will best satisfy your current craving (and whether you can sneak in a second dessert without anyone noticing). With their self-proclaimed "Finest Cuisine at Sea," you're in for a treat...though you might find yourself silently judging whether the risotto lives up to the hype. Activities range from trying to maintain your balance during a deck yoga session to strategically placing your towel by the pool early in the morning – it's a delicate ecosystem of relaxation and mild competitive sunbathing. But let's be honest, a significant part of the Oceania Vista experience is the sheer volume of food available. With 12 dining options, you could essentially spend your entire cruise in a pleasant, well-fed daze, occasionally wandering out to look at the ocean and then heading back in for another culinary adventure. It's a floating testament to the joys of not having to cook or do dishes, and a fantastic excuse to loosen your belt a notch or two. Just try not to make direct eye contact with the gym – it knows what you've been up to.
