Into the Breach - Eldritch Mechs by Metalocif (Normal) - Part 4 (Watchtower Security)

I've played this squad before, but I liked it a lot (though I admit I didn't make much use of the insanity mechanic last time), and apparently a weapon has been edited -- which is as good an excuse as any to play it again! I'm using Vextra, mission packs from kartoFlane, Machin and tosx, as well as tosx's Watchtower Security and Far Line Charters in place of Pinnacle and Detritus, and Lemonymous's Meridia (complete with its own array of plant Vek) in place of RST; I'm also using tosx's Cauldron Pilots (maybe I'll see some of them this time around!), and Metalocif's Evolving Vek and Omega Vek modifiers (which don't make the game that much harder according to Meta). This was tougher, just not as much tougher as I thought. The Omega Scarab was a twist I didn't expect. The boulder on the end of the tracks in Watchtower train missions is a nasty trick tosx played on us all, and at 18:23 you'll see me regret that Tentacular Mech can Doom objects as well as Vek -- I'm really glad Octopus Mech's tentacles can move after attacking.
