Francisco Tárrega - Marieta (Mazurka) | Gut and Silk strings | no nails

I think this was four takes plus a break including a small glass of bourbon while listening to the new Carles Trepat video that had just posted while I was recording (was it a sign? lol) for inspiration to get a result that I was more or less happy with. This is probably my favorite of Tárrega's mazurkas. I really wanted to record this with all gut and silk strings but my 4th string broke and I didn't have another silk bass to replace it with and it was too short to splice (it had already been spliced multiple times) so I replaced it with an Aquila rayon bass. The 3rd and 2nd strings are Pirastro and the the 1st is a very chewed up Gamut string.
