Today’s adventure started with a foggy drive to Crossville, Tennessee where we had to run an errand but decided to take advantage of being in one of the friendliest towns we’ve ever visited and check out some great thrift stores. Our first stop was Hilltoppers Inc. Thrift Store at 154 East First Street — a community-driven shop that supports local programs and always has something interesting to browse. Next, we visited the Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 325 McLarty Lane for home goods and furniture finds while giving back to a great cause. We made a stop at Threads of Hope at 230 Woodmere Mall, where proceeds benefit local children’s programs and the selection includes clothing, housewares, and more. Second Chance Thrift Store at 126 Cumberland Square was another favorite, with its mix of clothing, decor, and everyday finds. We even tracked down VORP Thrift Store at 2625 North Main Street, a tucked-away basement spot full of quirky gems and resale surprises. After that, we stopped into Eclectic Vintage and Antiques at 627 South Main Street — a beautiful shop full of mid-century and vintage charm. We wrapped up at The Wilted Rose Antiques and Vintage Collectibles at 2280 Highway 127 South, a cozy antique shop packed with unique pieces that really stood out. Even though the weather was cold and the haul wasn’t huge, we still found some great items and had an amazing time exploring. The real win was discovering new stores, meeting friendly faces, and gathering fresh inspiration for our own small business journey. We ended the day with a great meal at Lake Tansi Restaurant and Bar topped off with good conversation and plenty of laughs. Thrift hunting is all about the journey, the people you meet, and the thrill of finding something special while supporting local shops.
