Clark, Director of Music & Organist of the Cathedral of the Holy Cross (Boston) about the 101- rank E. & G. G. Hook & Hastings, Opus 801 organ built in 1875. One of the most most important historic instruments in the United States, they discuss Leo Abbott's legacy of resurrecting this instrument and its need for further comprehensive restoration. In addition, they discuss the music program at the Boston Cathedral, the role of the Gregorian Chans, antiphons, and Catholic Identity of sacred music at the Cathedral and Archdiocesan liturgies. The Cathedral's recent renovation has also transformed the acoustic. Clark discusses this positive impact on sacred music, and the organ's ability to better serve the liturgy.
