Hello, Home Chefs. Broad beans pickle adds taste to your daily meal. And sometimes it can take the place of cooked vegetables in your food plate. Try it. Ingredients 250 gram Fresh, Green Broad Beans 1 tsp. Fennel Seeds. (Big) ½ tsp. Caraway Seeds 4 tsp. Black Mustard. (Small) 1 tsp. Cumin Seeds 2 tsp. Red Chili Powder. (As per taste) ½ tsp. Turmeric Powder 2 tsp. Vinegar. (As per taste) 2 tbsp. Mustard Oil 2 tsp. salt. Preparation Wash devein and cut beans into 1-inch pieces. Make a fine powder of fennel, caraway, black mustard and cumin seeds in a grinder. Cooking Boil 1-liter water in a pan. Put beans in boiling water and cover for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and after 1 minute, strain the water. Now spread the beans evenly on a clean cotton cloth for drying. Keep it in sun or under the fan for 2 hours so that excess water dries up. Now, keep the beans in a mixing bowl. Add powdered spices and rest of the ingredients in beans. Mix with a dry spoon properly, cover with a thin cotton cloth and keep in the sun for 2-3 days. Till then it will become sour and spicy. You can keep it in the fridge for a month.
