On 27th September, Stone's brand-new outdoor stage came alive as over 300 people gathered for Where the Light Begins, a Hope on Prescription festival celebrating the power of poetry to spark hope, purpose and togetherness. Across one extraordinary afternoon, festivalgoers of all ages experienced moving performances by workshop participants, local poets, and acclaimed poets Lemn Sissay and Celia Knapp. What unfolded was more than a festival, it was a shared moment of humanity, where strangers became neighbours, creativity became connection, and hope felt possible again. ✨ In every smile, tear and shared moment, you could see the light beginning, in children, in elders, in families, in people who simply wandered over and chose to stay.
