Nomenclature of malignant tumor (cancer) They are harmful. The “sarcoma” suffix is added to the tissue of origin to represent a malignant tumor. Like in case of mesenchymal origin malignant tumors, fibrosarcoma is the malignant tumor of the fibroblast cells. Chondrosarcoma, malignant tumor of the cartilage.
