Marissa was about to turn 30 and decided to fulfill her dream of getting a breast augmentation surgery. She has four other friends who had procedures done with S. Larry Schlesinger, MD, FACS, so she knew he was the doctor for her. What was her experience? She was able to trust in the doctor's care and experience to choose the implant size that would match her hopes - he chose a smaller implant than she had given him permission to use - and she loves them. Marissa also noticed the attention he gives to patients after surgery and how important it was to see him (and not his nurse at appointments). I've always wanted to do it. I turn 30 this year and I feel like it was a great time to do it and I'm sad that I waited so long 'cause it's great! My name is Marissa and I had a breast augmentation. My doctor was Dr. Schlesinger. Actually a couple of girls that I work with got a procedure done with him. I'm like the 4th one I think. I kind of...It was funny because I went in between what everybody else did but I let him, I signed off at 5'6" and that's huge compared to what I have now you know. But I just trusted him and I was like, "OK, whatever you think." It was scary but it worked out. I woke up and everything was done. It was great, it was easy. Nice, quick and easy. Perfect. It is such a huge thing, aftercare. It's great though when he comes in. To every little detail everything from my scaring. Like I had to do ultrasound and it felt really good by the way. I loved doing it, I didn't want to stop. And then, from the scaring, I had a little bit of keloiding so he, I had shots under my arm and then it went flat. Now I'm just waiting to laser. For the color? Yeah. Good. I can't wait but it looks great. It's so small, super minor. Very confident. I don't know, I wear very, very revealing clothes. I'm very, very obviously I'm really confident in myself. I would have, honestly I would have done it maybe when I was like 24. And I'll be 30 that's a six year difference. If I knew a girl who was 24 and wanted to do it I'd be like, "Yes, 'cause it's awesome." I would love to thank everyone that, they've been so awesome and very...it feels like a family honestly. It feels like it was supposed to happen. We were supposed to meet each other and be in each others lives you know. My girlfriend explained it that it would be, it's like an accessory. I didn't have to change any of my clothing I just filled it out and it was exactly what I wanted.
