Deeksharambh 2025 welcomed the 2025–26 MBBS and BDS cohort to Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune with a clear reminder of what the profession demands. Our Chief Guest, Surgeon Vice Admiral Dr. Arti Sarin, AVSM, VSM, Director General Armed Forces Medical Services, spoke on the responsibility that comes with the white coat, the importance of learning medicine through patient centred care and the value of discipline and self care as students grow into clinicians who can serve India and the world. The ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Dr. P. D. Patil, Hon’ble Dr. (Mrs.) Bhagyashree P. Patil, Hon’ble Dr. Smita Jadhav and Hon’ble Dr. Yashraj P.
