Had some people wanting to see the rack go up and down, so I threw this together real quick. This is only the 2nd or 3rd time I've cycled it with the new tilting mounts. And the first time I've went to complete lockout in the high postition. So, I'm still figuring out what's most efficient for getting the rack up and down. The rack has about 19.5" of travel from low mount to high. High mount position gets the bottom of my Rooftop tent sitting about 6'2"-6'3".fully extended, the rack is rock solid once I screw in the locking knobs. The rack has liftsupportDepot.com 60lb 21" stroke struts inside each leg. The rear struts are definitely over weighted at this point. So, I may go to 80lb struts in the rear. One thing to note, the last 2-3 inches of lift are considerably slower than the initial lift speed, I'm sure due to how the valving works. So, I tend to add a little more assistance at the end, just to help it finish out the lift. With 80lb struts in the rear, I think it would finish out a bit easier, but it's still very usable at this point.
