I met a number of great people in Darwin, including representatives of the Greek Orthodox Community of North Australia including their energetic president, the principal and teachers from the Greek school, the recent Lord Mayor of Darwin, and a whole stack of Greeks. Those I met from football, and I was allowed to play a game, businesses or Oates are covered in Part Two! This is Part One and I stress it’s a snapshot of the Hellenes in this city. A real documentary should come via the locals. I was just visiting in my way to Timor Leste. This was a top top trip.
