G’day I’m Karen Schmidt; in this video I stop briefly at the Woodfield and Yark monuments before reaching the Goulburn River which was named by the explorers on December 3rd 1824. Captain William Hilton Hovell was my 4xGreat Grandfather and this video is part of a series whereby I retrace his steps on the bicentenary of the Hume and Hovell Expedition of 1824-25.
