At a meeting for amusement park fans on December 21, 2019, Plopsa CEO Steve Van den Kerkhof officially announced that the choice had been made for an Extreme Spinning Coaster from Mack Rides and that the opening of the new track is planned for 2021. showed a simulation video of the new attraction. The build-up of the structure was completed on December 17, 2020. At the end of 2020, it was announced that the park is looking to apply a different theme. On January 15, 2021, the official name, The Ride to Happiness by Tomorrowland, was announced.
