©️ Brodie’s_SirenProductions Please use my videos with my permission! Location: 4300 Columbus Dr, McKinney, TX 75070 Date: 8/5/23 Model: Whelen Engineering WPS-2909 Testing Cycle: Best Possible Protection, (2x) Voice So we decided to make the 2 1/2 hour drive down to McKinney so I could get a second recording of McKinney’s cursed siren system. I chose this 2909 since 2909’s aren’t very common, and I was hoping to hear the ESC-2020 Best Possible Protection. I was somewhat concerned that they wouldn’t test on time, considering that they have tested at almost 12:30 in the past, but the sirens fired up right after noon. I sat up right next to a school with concrete walls so the echoes were crazy. I unexpectedly met up with Almaburmy Dylan, who showed up at 11:56, and after the test we went over to Frisco to eat lunch together. Pretty cool experience, and I’m glad my videos came out this way. I hope you all enjoy! The McKinney Office of Emergency Management conducts testing on their siren system on the first Saturday of every month at 12 PM, weather permitting. The testing will be silent on the first Saturday if there is a risk of severe weather. The test lasts for around 1.5 to 2 minutes, with voice messages following afterwards.
