A mat-weaver from the north, and member of a long estranged branch of the imperial clan, decides to do the right thing and join the host of warlords fighting across the country. With his brothers Zhang Fei and Guan Yu, and certainly of his claim and cause, he marches to destroy rebels and impose imperial law on forgotten lands. But the Emperor is still in the clutches of a tyrant, and corruption still bubbling up, seemingly inexplicably. How can that be reticified? Whatever the case, if the nation can be saved by the warlords, surely he is the only one worthy of seeing that solution through to success? Let's find out! In this series I'm writing a tale based on a Liu Bei campaign for Three Kingdoms Total War. I'm also using a 15-turns-per-year mod, to allow more leeway for wasting time doing roleplay stuff, and more time with the characters in general. BG music is from the game's soundtrack. I guess that's all there is to say, so let's find out where this goes! Enjoy the story!
